Ahti never knew what became of the con man or her boat, but she started from scratch and bought herself a new boat. This incident made Ahti suspicious and cautious of any positive actions towards her, and she vowed never to allow anyone close enough to cause harm to her or her brother again.

For the next few years, Ahti dedicated herself to gaining numerous medals and trophies to show off various physical feats of strength through things like triathlons, martial arts, and other self-defense techniques. Today, Ahti works with her Pokemon to become strong enough to fend off dangers. She's made it her goal to acquire Hearthaven's gym badges as proof, to others and herself, that she is indeed strong.
