While Belle is delighted to have been accepted by the Seroran herd, she still finds herself overcome by doubts and dilemmas.
She's been feeling the pressure as an Ignacio-worshipper and an ex-Aodhian. She still loves her birth home and cherishes her past and beliefs, but she's desperate to truly be accepted among the Serorans. She doesn't want to change herself to fit in but she's worried if she doesn't she'll never truly find her place here.
And to add to the stress her feelings toward the Mullah Esin seem to have grown. She wants to ask her out but she's terrified that if Essie turns her down she'll ruin her only true friendship. Belle is still pretty young and she's far away from everything Familiar, it's all very overwhelming at times but with some determination and support she will adapt and be stronger for it.
