Yup i know about him from seeing green lantern animated series on cartoon network and i was like just confused of how a planet become into green lantern.

Funny, cause my first encounter was in "Emerald Knights".  As for how it'spossible, i believe Mogowas always a living planet, but he needed a power ring in order to truly become a sentient being. Probably not the best explanation, but better than nothing. He's basially the good version of Ego, the living planet.
