Back to Sonic and the Kongs, they followed Lilac to Shang Mu, where the Magister is having a meeting with Mayor Zao. Unfortunately, they’re facing a bigger situation then what we’re facing. The Nagaia army is attacking Shang Mu and with no hesitation the four heroes rush in to the rescue. After defeating most of the Nagaians, the remaining were forced into retreat. The Magister and Mayor Zao we’re pleased about Lilac’s assistance and also her new friends. Sonic explains to the two leaders about what he knows about the alien army and their clone army. He doesn’t know what they are or what they’re planning but they began traveling to different worlds and setting up attacks. They need to figure out what is going on and warn the other members of Super Smash Brothers. Although they were concerned about the whole story, they believe the blue hedgehog is telling the truth because there is no other explanation. They immediately had the workers search for the location of the remaining alien army. When they found the coordinates to where they’re going, Sonic and the Kongs moved out post haste and Lilac joins them on their mission.

The adventure continues in Super Smash Bros Mayhem. In the picture, Sonic and his friends are having a conversation with the two leaders from Freedom Planet. When Sonic mentioned DK is a king from his world, they were surprised. Most of them anyway.
