Spring is, by far, Milo's favorite season. After spending a long cold winter bundled up indoors by the fire nothing felt better than going out and exploring the changing lands in the warm sunlight. On today's expedition he stumbled upon a small clearing, where the flowers had recently started blooming. On closer inspection some of these white flowers weren't flowers at all, but curious glowing butterflies instead! Some seemed to take a passive interest in Milo, but most just went about their usual business, to the little Whim's delight. Observing nature was great but it was even better when creatures payed no mind to him, instead allowing Milo to study their daily routines.

I actually drew this before doing his registration sheet ahah. I read the new prompt right when it was posted and immediately knew what I wanted to draw, so here we are!

I'm also trying to do more color-focused pieces instead of big elaborate illustrations for my personal artwork. So if anyone knows good color palette blogs or resources, I’d love to see them!
