Okay, fellow deviant "ilovehondacivics" asked me "Will you ever start your own Godzilla animation series someday?", and I told them no... to the animate part. In fact, I've actually created quite a few Kaiju series of my own back in the day! Although none of them have ever been finished, each one is filled to the brim with different story ideas & lore (and by filled to the brim, I mean it puts the lore of the Death Battles I write to SHAME!), so I thought maybe you guys could help me out with filling in the blanks. And first up is my 2nd-favorite, Kaiju Committee: Defenders of Earth!

In short, this series features a group of Earth-defending Kaiju that end up keeping the planet from being taken over/destroyed by other Kaiju. Basically, it's Godzilla: Rulers of Earth minus all the humans, except Kaiju Committee only lasted for 15 Volumes, not 25 like Rulers of Earth. And fun fact, Volume 1 (this one here) is the only one that got a fully finished story. That's right, the other 14 Volumes are just covers!

Volume 1 follows Godzilla as he fights Orga and Manda, slowly but surely being overwhelmed. But just as Orga gets ready to quite literally eat Godzilla's heart out for... some reason... while Manda constricts the King of the Monsters, Zilla bursts out of the ground and helps Godzilla fend them off! Upon victory, the duo swim out to sea to help other committee members fend off threats.
