Description On Earth-58, humanity nearly destroyed itself in World War 3. Sadder still, the world's protectors, the Justice Guild of America, died trying to stop the war. The world seemed without a future, until a group of dimension-lost heroes arrived and freed the people from the tyrant who had held the survivors of humanity under his boot. Since that day, the people worked long and hard to rebuild their civilization. A group of friends exploring the ruins of one of the old cities discovered the headquarters and remaining equipment of the Justice Guild and remodeled themselves after the heroes of old, vowing to protect their people from the threats of bandits, reborn criminals and would-be dictators. The reborn JGA stand ready always.

Black Siren: Mary often felt like the odd girl out among her male friends. Exploring the ruins, she discovered the journals of the original Black Siren. Reading them, she slowly taught herself the martial arts and eventually took her long-dead mentor's mantle as her own.

Tom Turbine: Fascinated by the science and technology that existed before the war, Tom spent entire days down in the ruins of the original Tom Turbine's lab. Eventually, he discovered an intact journal that diagramed the technology used to created the hero's generator belt and power bracers.

The Streak: Helping Tom to rebuild the generator belt, Max was struck by a stray bolt of energy from a discharge and found himself granted the ability to move at superhuman speed. It was only right for him to take the name of the original JGA's leader.

Catman:Β Ryan is the most experienced of the group, having been exploring ruins since he was a child. Taking on the identity of Catman, he and Tom worked together to enhance his already intimidating physical skills by building a set of cat-vision goggles, clawed cyber-gauntlets and a special utility belt that holds varous devices.

Green Guardsman: Among the ruins of the original JGA's mansion headquarters, Joe discovered the enchanted ring once wielded by Scott Mason, the original Green Guardsman. Slipping it onto his finger, Joe found himself able to create weapons and constructs of solid emerald energy and manipulate anything except aluminum.
