I think I shipped Link and Fi since 2009, when Skyward Sword was anounced. And I will hate Zelda/Zelink forever and ever.

i actually really liked it. i feel like they probably could have done more with explaining some things, but they still did a pretty good job. man, i even got all teary eyed at the emotional scenes with zelda.
even though i'm not a big fan or her, this version of zelda is still probably my favorite one to date.
i also really liked the the ending boss battles. ghirahim is my new favorite villian. the fights were incredibly easy, though. i was expecting them to be way more difficult.
all together, though, it was about on par with what i was expecting. no better, no worse.

Yeah they expanded the Zelda Universe more than explaining things, although they did explain a few things. 
Zelda's very different in this one, but I like what they did with her and Link. Link seemed so much more alive in this game mainly because he expresses his feelings so well.
Ghirahim is awesome, especially in that particular scene near the ending made me laugh so much. I think the fights are okay, it was better then Twilight Princess and Windwaker.
I didn't expect much, that's the mistake I learned from Twilight Princess. I do hope for a sequel of Skyward Sword.

yeah, link is much more visual with his feelings. i love his facial expressions. some of them are so hilarious, like when he's surprised and screams!!
i really liked the scene before the second battle with him. the dialogue was hilarious and wonderful.
i'm really hoping for a skyward sword manga, as well, but i'm not going to get my hopes up. i think they're trying to stick with making only the handheld zelda games into mangas, now. ): that's my impression, at least.
