I mainly did it to help a friend with shading, but I thought it was a good idea to share it here too :3c

I must say that clearly shading is not that easy, it takes practice. This is more than anything a super summary guide of how the shading could be done little by little.

Each person ends up with their own style and technique, which is achieved with practice and study.

Color theory, shading and the variety of techniques and methods that exist in both traditional and digital drawing is a much longer topic than just 5 paragraphs of text, so what I wrote in the image should not be taken as definitive and absolute. Look for videos, talk to friends, relive Monet and let him teach you, but yes, enjoy your learning.

As a final note, "Why Cliff?" Because it makes it more fun than just placing 2 spheres, one gray and one colored, and making an example gradient. I am sure that in this topic we have already seen more spheres than stars in the sky.
