to get rid of his weakness;
these feelings for his brother's miko,
feelings Sesshoumaru could not name.
"Prepare yourself!"
was all the warning she got, before he took his aim.
But even in the face of death
the miko showed no fear.
A calm smile on her lips,
the young girl reached for him instead.
Blue orbs, full of trust, gazed deep in golden eyes.
"Everything will be all right," she promised
and the taiyoukai's heart skipped a beat.
These unknown feelings, Sesshoumaru was aware,
posed a risk for him.
They were his only weakness.
But, deep down inside, the inu-youkai knew
it was too late.
He never would get rid of her.
