Remake of a Death Note pic I did a while ago ([link] ) because, looking at it right now, I really thought it could be improved in many senses of the word.It's prety curious how the pic has evolved in a pretty different way than the old one, now that it's been colored... The color contrast between the characters and the background are totally opposite between the two pics.
But I thought that a light background was more fitting this time, because of the contrast it creates with the darkened colors of the characters.
Anyway, colored today because I finally have some spare time!!

Me gusta mucho mΓ‘s este, la "ausencia de fondo" me parece mucho mΓ‘s apropiada, con el dibujo como un todo enmarcado en blanco y la mirada asesina de Light estΓ‘ mejor que en su hora de la merienda.

How did you make the colors og everyone except Light go into a backround?

I just colored them with the colors they would have if they had a "blue filter". I just needs a little practice to see the colors without having to use photoshop tools

heyyyys! Que chulooo! Me gusta sobre todo el tonillo azulado de los personajes de detras de light, que se note quien es dios, coΓ±or! xD Pero creo que con el fondo negro habia quedado mas "autentico pata negra"... Mas estilo death note...

Hmmm, yo creo q los colores elegidos son ya algo oscuros, y q con fondo blan co hacen mejor contraste, pero a lo mejor es pq no he probado lo del negro

I have mixed feeling for the second half of the series... I like how things went but I hated these 2 "L clones" xD They were so obviously a remake of L (specially Near) that was really pissing me off xD
