Rodan (ロダン)

Species: Giant Pterosaur
Height: 100 meters
Wingspan: 200 meters
Mass: 30,000 tons
Danger Level: 8/10
Location of Discovery: North of Mexico
Alignment: Neutral-Good

Rodan is a kaiju unlike any other. His story was quite memorable and tragic and it teaches humanity that even kaiju as destructive as Godzilla can show and feel emotions. Rodan, like most Earth kaiju, is the last of his kind. In Rodan's case, he was apart of a great species of pterosaur bigger than that of Ornithcheirus and Quetzalcoatlus which first evolved around 193 million years ago in the early Jurassic Period. Their natural prey is being the Meganula and Meganulon, and, just like Godzilla and Anguirus, Rodan's species managed to survive the KT Extinction Event. How? By hibernating in the mountains until life on Earth recovers. Eventually due to a mining operation, two Rodans emerged with a young-ling; a young male. The sight was nice for the gigantic pterosaurs, but their presence cause problems to the people of Japan. Fishing was running low and flights at airports were delayed. Not to mention, the Rodan caused destruction to Federal City just by simply flying near by buildings. This enraged the President that the already destroyed city was getting much worse. So what he did was decide to bomb the mountain the Rodan family lived on in order for them to be driven away or killed. Later that night, while the Rodan sleep, some highly explosive bombs were implanted into the mountain and they decided to detonate them. When they did, the Rodan family were quite surprised and had no idea what to do and the fully grown male was scaring off the army from his territory. But behind him, his wife and child were being almost crushed by the rocks that held the mountain upright. He tried desperately to save his family, but was too late. His family, his kin, were dead. And for a total of three weeks, all of Japan just heard nothing but cries of pain from Rodan. The President himself cried, feeling totally responsible for what he had done. Eventually, Rodan flew at fast speeds towards Siberia in order to hibernate and try to live the pain away.
He wasn't present or seen on radar for eight years, when Anguirus was suddenly walking into Rodan's territory. Feeling that he's threatening his home, Rodan quickly came to action to fight off the ankylosaur. But then, Godzilla, sensing some radiation in the area, jumped into the fight. The trio fought until Mothra came along and told them about the legends of King Ghidorah. At first, Rodan and the other two think what Mothra was telling them was none of their concern and don't want to defend humanity. But Mothra was finally able to get the three of them to work together when she uses her powers to show off what would happen if they don't help her and what would happen if King Ghidorah succeeds in destroying Earth. Though Rodan was still a bit stubborn about the situation, Godzilla and Anguirus fully understood and actually "talked" some sense into Rodan which convinced him about helping defend the Earth and humanity. After defeating the King of Terror, Rodan made friends with Godzilla, Anguirus, and Mothra and also decided to fly off for a new home. Over the past years, G-Force noticed that Rodan, despite being a pterosaur and not a bird, has the same migration process as birds such as geese do. When winter arrives, Rodan is usually seen in more tropical climates while in the summer, Rodan is seen in the Pacific North West.

Abilities:
-Flying at Mach 9
-Shooting a Heat Ray from his mouth
-Flapping his wings for generating a stong gust
-His beak is powerful enough to shatter boulders and even pierce through other kaiju's flesh.
-He is able to lift any monster into the air whether they're heavier than him or not. In some cases, Rodan is shown lifting Godzilla to either hurt him or to help him in battle
-His wings can act as dagger-like weapons in cose combat

Details:
-His design is a fusion between the Heisei version, the one from Final Wars, and the Monsterverse version
-Similar to the Heisei version, he can shoot a Heat Ray from his mouth
-He can stand like normal pteranodon (like in Singular Point)
-Like in Godzilla 2: King Of The Monsters (2019), he emerges from a volcano
