I understand Mable has mad crafts skills, but splitting a banana with the peel still on perfectly with your bare hands is ridiculous.

Actually, it's quite easy! First, you take the banana and make a bit of a notch in the peel; if you don't have a knife on you, just use your fingernail. Make sure the scratch is about in the middle, on the inside of the bend in the banana. Next, you grip the banana with both hands and rip it in half using a downward motion.
