If only.
Of course, given the canonical existence of the multiverse...Β

Honestly, how many people would do the right thing? I mean, not just something this important, like when you break your brother's toy or something. How many people say the true?

I would, especially if the thing was as important as this.
No matter how much i would have tried to hide things, I always confess so that the problem can be fixed.

It really depends on the person.
Some people would tell their siblings, some wouldn't.
Either because they're really close or aren't.
Or they're smarter or whatever.
I for one would tell my sibling before my parents find out so we could avert a crisis.
I have a couple times tried to fix something in secret before but sometimes that doesn't work out. It helps to tell your sibling. In most cases, they'll be glad you said something before it was too late.

That's the ideal, but most people would do what Stanley did in this case. To be honest, I'm not sure what'll do myself.

I would like to know people's opinions of Stanley's brother of the scene when Stanley called his brother selfish. Β Does anyone think that he is?

SlugPonez In reply to Blaria95-love-bunny [2015-08-03 14:43:31 +0000 UTC]
Stanley's brother was incredibly selfish. Even though he didn't get his dream career, he still got to do research and was very well-off. When his brother(Stanley) finally came after ten years apart, he wanted him to leave.
What kind of brother does that?

Blaria95-love-bunny In reply to SlugPonez [2015-08-03 23:39:49 +0000 UTC]
True but there was a reason why he wanted him to leave but even so I do agree that he was being selfish.

That I have to agree to. He wanted his brother to immediately take him back, and have a tearful reunion. Then, Stan was really offended by the fact that Ford was still mad at him. That in itself is selfish of Stan.

Yes. He forgot all about their dream, and he left that idea at the mention of a better life without Stanley. I almost cried. It was so sad.

A bit selfish on Stan's part expecting Ford to abandon West Tech, IMO To say nothing of how unrealistic it is.
