Description This is a sculpt I did for Virgin Comics. Is one of their comic book characters called "Ramayan" the worrior prince. It'll be a full color hand painted collectable figurine. This is based on the cover art from one of their comics called Rama painted by Alex Ross.
It's about 11 1/2" tall.

please excuse me if this was asked already but how do keep the figure suspended without the weight breaking it?

I know sculptures have wire frames but I still a bit confused..

Wow, this is amazing work. Did you know that "Ramayan" is an Indian epic, and the hero, Rama, is an incarnation of God Vishnu?
I love this.

Dramatic action form. The subtle textures add significant depth to the work.
Btw, did you is the figure made of multiple, pinned parts, or is it a single-piece sculpture?

Beautiful sculpture here, your whole gallery is stunning, but I think the glint of the blue in this piece really caught my eye a lot. These swept up pieces have so much movement and grace to them, I'd love to get my hands on a copy of the figurine cast from it. His hair and bow are beautiful. Only small nitpicks I have are in the musculature of his lower torso you can see poking out below the chest armor - the horizontal lines beyond the abs look a little odd, but that could be the lighting, or down to the original reference you had for the cover, and the daintyness of his feet which again may just be down to this view, but they look quite small up to the size of his hands and head. But that's being really picky, as I say, and it doesn't detract from a beautiful work of art.

Great work, again. I read that comic, thought the idea was much better than the execution (very interesting character) but he visuals are good, and your sculpt more than lives up to them!

This is simply amazing. How many times haven't I wished I could sculpt? I've tried many times, but my fingers aren't made to sculpt it seems. This piece of Ramayan is incredible.
Do you use Super Sculpey or Hobby Clay to create your art, or something else?
