Graphite pencils on smooth Bristol : 460x300mm.Reference: flexdreams.deviantart.com/art/… by . A big thank you for allowing me to use the reference to draw this.
The reference has some wonderful tones which interested me and the hair practice was worthwhile .. always something to learn there. All in all a very enjoyable exercise.

That is so beautiful, although I would have preferred to have seen her without chips.
Such delicate pencil work both on her skin as well as her hair, well worth the effort.

Hi Mark - you are have to do us a tutorial on this smooth skin appearance you are achieving - it is simply incredible! This one and markstewart.deviantart.com/art… seem to show a new technique you are using, and are offering a new level of finish to your work - very jealous

Well spotted Paul, It's a style i tried on one last year (pink stone). There is one more to come like this in this style .. no circulism on these, just soft light touch layered shading .. takes ages though.
