Description HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Didn't you just upload this?"

No? I drew a Dodger ACO earlier, but decided to take it down as its ghost lines were bothering me.

HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Oh? Honest mistake---all your ACOs look alike anyway (like a hot mess)!"

At least I'm consistent. ...and as I did the same with my drawing of Fantastic Max not too long ago, it would seem I'm beginning to develop standards.
Pfft! I know better than to do that (who'd I be fooling?). Besides, turning out bad art like this gives me something to feel bad about, and if I feel bad, I've an excuse to drink (more)! XD

N-E-way, I have drawn Dodger anew ...There's dust and ghost lines in this one, too, but they're in different places!
Said dust is brought to us by this vintage Empire 'Trusty' pencil (which has a smooth drag, though its lead is sticky and doesn't erase easily).

HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "The bad artist blames his pencil"

You're darn right they do (and I've plenty left for this one ...but I'll not push it)!

Returning to the card (as stated before),

"This ACO was a bit tricky to draw. For one, I am not particularly suited for drawing clothes (pun!). Looking at the character as drawn by its animators, my guess is they begin by drawing the inner lines of the subject's jacket, then drew the character inside it via the 'draw-through' technique.
I did the opposite: I drew the character, then lined the clothing over. I suppose it looks ok, considering I drew the subject in reverse.
I dunno---even a new artist fresh out of a Cal-Arts school knows more about drawing than I do, so.. I should probably keep my mouth (er, I mean, keyboard) closed"

I did the same here---I drew the character, then lined the clothing over the body sketch.
I think either technique works, I'm just used to simpler costumes (like shorts and T's ...what? I'm a cub artist, and that's what cubs wear!) ^^

Anyway, for those who missed the previous upload (it was up only a few minutes), I suppose I should repeat what I said about who this character is/where he's from,

"This is 'The Artful Dodger' from Saban's animated (serialized) adaptation of Oliver Twist (specifically, 'Saban's animated Adventures of Oliver Twist').

I never watched this series growing up, though I knew about it. It was among those shows that didn't air on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, PBS or Fox Kids---you know, the channels I actually watched! XD
This would have been on TBS, Family Channel, USA or something like that (I really don't remember).

Either way, I drew this per a watcher's suggestion (evidencing that most every series indeed has its fans)"

HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "The lapels aren't symmetrical ...the open hand looks like it might be bigger than the other ...the left---"

Shut up! It's no worse than my other cards (and that's what matters)!
