Solar energy is both using solar cells and thermosolar reflection (reflect light to a tower, to heat water and boil). Water by hydroelectric dams and wave generators. Notice pragmatics: roads are built over dams, and instead of traditional pylons as ugly metal structures, power transmission is carried on aeathetic towers which hold wind turbines and solar mirrors, to supplement the power grid.
