Power: Shape-shifting. Most of the time, Clae just alters xir own body so xe experiences less dysphoria, but xe can also shape shift into other people. In order to do this, xe must obtain their "pattern" by touching them. Xe acquires their DNA code this way. It usually takes a few tries before the shift is "perfect", however, and the more different xir target's body is from xirs the longer it will take, both to do the actual shift and the finished shift itself. (That said, a shift never will be "perfect," as xe can't change the shape of xir pupils). A shift can take anywhere from two to twenty minutes, and xe's completely vulnerable when this is happening.

Weapon of choice: Nailbat, knives, xir own two fists.

Strengths: Clae has some karate skills that come in handy, but xe's better at street fighting. Since xe can change xir own body at will, xe can also make xir muscles and bones stronger (which means HARDER PUNCHIN!) Xe is very agile. On an emotional side, xe is very aloof, and it takes a lot to rattle xir.

Weaknesses: Clae relies far too much on xir brute strength and can't strategize for shit. Xe's reckless and takes a lot of unnecessary risks. While performing a shift, xe is completely vulnerable. When xe's posing as someone, no matter how hard xe tries, xe cannot get xir pupils to change, and it could potentially expose xir.

Likes: Cigarettes. Doesn't matter the brand. Goes through like, 2 packs a day (Clae baby that is so bad for you). Sex, drugs, rock and roll. Salty food, money. Especially money. Gibbs.

Personality: Once a bubbly, eccentric prankster, Clae is now very withdrawn, preferring the company of xirself and money to pretty much anyone or anything else. Losing Gibbs was the first time Clae was ever confronted with the death of someone xe loved, and it literally stole the twinkle from xir eyes. Before, xe was just a kid having fun, running around like xe ruled the world. But xe and Gibbs weren't as god-like as xe always thought, and that reality was like a knife to the gut. Xe grew cold. Xe doesn't laugh or smile very much, and is constantly on edge. When xe does speak, xe's very curt and to-the-point, and never bothers to tip toe around sore subjects to spare anyone's feelings. This leads a lot of xir acquaintances to pick fights with xir, but xe always enjoys a good ass-kicking (regardless of who actually gets their ass kicked. May be a form of self harm.)

Background: Clae was the only child of a military family. Xir parents were strict, but very loving. Clae's father was in the army and xe grew up thinking he was a hero and could do no wrong. Xe aspired to be just like him when xe grew up, and didn't realize until much later in life that xir father was actually a horrible, abusive husband, so xe grew up with terrible morals. When xe was 9 xir father was arrested, and seeing xir father behind bars fucked xir up a lot. Xe began acting out, and disobeying xir parent's rules. Xe started small; eating in xir room, staying up late. Xe talked back and didn't do xir chores. As xe got older, xe started doing worse things, and more often. Sneaking out. Ditching class. Partying. Drugs. Alcohol. Sex. Stealing. Fighting.

When xir mother found out xe immediately dragged xir to a therapist. After the first session Clae packed up and ran away, using the money xe'd stolen to catch a bus to a far away city called Stallin City where the cops couldn't find xir.

Once in Stallin City, xe worked for gangsters and drug dealers and the like to earn money. Xe would mostly be used to sell drugs to the local youth and seduce people to join the gang. It was gritty work, but it paid well, and xe was able to buy xirself an apartment within a few years. Xe had absolutely no idea xe had the s-gene until xe was having a very dysphoric day and went to bed wishing xe had a more masculine figure, only to wake up with a fully male body. Xe was quick to figure it out and immediately began practicing altering xir image the way xe liked. Eventually xe tried to change into someone xe knew, and was pleased to find xe could shape shift into anyone xe pleased.

Time Skip: When the dust had settled after the battle between heroes and villains, Clae immediately began searching for Gibbs, xir mentor and lover. All xe could find of him was his beanie and a few bits and pieces from his favorite bass guitar. Xe was devastated, and collected all xe could find so xe could bury it. Xe tried to return to the gang xe worked for before, but they were still pissed by xir betrayal and beat xir near to death. After that, xe left Stallin City, bringing nothing with xir except the clothes on xir back and a single tuning peg from Gibbs' guitar. Xe was allowed into another gang a few towns away, who were far more brutal than the other. Xe very quickly became desensitized to violence, death, and human trafficking. Xe Even began to enjoy it, just a little bit.

Xe used xir abilities for evil. Xe turned into a sort of double agent, leaking information about the gang xe was involved with to rival gangs in exchange for cash and drugs. Xe would acquire the DNA of random people on the street and use their face to pose as new members, joining multiple gangs at once and ultimately turning them against each other for xir own selfish gains. This didn't work in xir favor all the time, though, and nearly got xir killed on more than one occasion.

Eventually Clae ran out of gangs to mess with, either because they knew about xir and would check everyone's eyes, or because all the members had died in a fight, so xe left for the next town. Xe's been hopping from one town to another, getting farther and farther away from Stallin City. However, once a year on the anniversary of xir and Gibbs' first meeting, xe travels back home to visit his grave...

Other: Clae still hasn't grown out of xir love of the military aesthetic, though xe has toned it down a little since xir job is a bit...messier now. Xe has anisocoria (where the pupils are two different sizes) and is still very self conscious about it; however, goggles and other eyewear that would hide them would be a hindrance. Xe is blind in xir left eye due to an injury xe received in the Battle Of Stallin. Xe's covered in all kinds of scars. Xe used to have a very heavy southern accent, but it's become more subtle over the years.
