Bought some new water brushes and couldn't resist drawing and painting this up while re-watching "The Reichenbach Fall" Episode. I personally think they shouldn't explain how he survived the fall. They should leave it unexplained one of the great mysteries.

I am sure the answers to his survival are planted in the episode but like all great writers they should just let some mysteries continue isn't more fun that way anyway?
