Of course, what Kion and the Lion Guard don’t know is that Kopa’s old friend is none other than a Lioness named Imani who defected from the Outsiders when Scar corrupted Zira beyond repair and Zira out of her complete devotion to Scar attacked Kopa in cold blood and gave him up for dead. When Kopa comes to Imani and her family at their den which is a few miles away from the edge of the top of Mapango Cliffs to give his invitation and offer for their chance to be heroes, Imani and her family accept without hesitation as they are wanting to hang out with Kopa and work together again as much as they already have ever since Imani started raising Kopa alongside her (Imani) daughter Sanura.
