(Kopa and Vitani reunite as the Outsiders join them, Kovu and Kopa's other friends)

Vitani approaches Kopa and examines him from head to toe. Then to confirm Kopa being alive and well, Vitani holds up one of her paws in front of Kopa who recognizes that gesture as the way he and Vitani would greet each other when they were Cubs in acknowledgement of their differences and similarities.

KOPA (overcome with love at seeing the Lioness he loves being right there before him): Vitani…

VITANI (as her and Kopa’s much larger paw touch each other firmly and she stares at Kopa in complete shock): Are you for real 😧😮 😳?

KOPA (as he nods his head and opens his other foreleg in a come here like gesture): Come here, Vitani.

Overcome with emotion, Vitani pounces on Kopa and pulls him into a very tight hug who does the same as they cry together with tears of joy 😂🥲🥹

VITANI (as her tears fall onto Kopa’s shoulder and back and soaks his mane): I’ve really missed you, Kopa. I can’t believe I got you back.

KOPA (as his tears fall onto Vitani’s shoulder and back): I’ve really missed you too, Vitani. I’m so very happy that we’re finally together again.

Kopa and Vitani stay like that for a minute before they break apart. They are at that moment joined by the entire Pride of Outsiders (Lions who were banished from the Pride Lands by Simba because of them having previously loyal only to Scar).

OUTSIDER #1: Prince Kopa, is that you?

KOPA: It is, Outsiders. Thanks to an old friend.
