“What the heck?” she asked wheeling around, a bright flash reflecting in her eyes as something pulled out of view, leaving Jared Thomson standing before her looking like he just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
“I want to play toy soldiers, and you wouldn’t, so now I’m gonna play with you.” The young boy said smiling. Brenda was about to scold him when suddenly she felt a shudder pass through her body, the cold spot on her back was getting colder by the second and spreading.
“What did you- you do?” she stammered turning around, to her shock she saw a large gold key sticking from her back, spinning slowly. “What is that. How did you put that… on me….” She shook her head as stars swam in front of her eyes, the world seemed to be spinning and she felt she was going to faint “This… is not good…” she said as a strange shudder passed over her body again.
