It's been a weird week for Meggy, for sure. Her way of life was thrown head over heels, and now she's an Inkling-born-Human. An anime human at that, just to rub the salt in the wound. Being a human is...weird. Whole new bunch of bones and organs to look after, and she found out firsthand that breaking a leg wasn't just a common saying, and it was QUITE unpleasant when you actually did. Even the perk of being able to survive in water wasn't much help if a lifetime of liquid lethality meant her swimming skills were nonexistent. And it didn't take a genius to know there weren't many good teachers in the Kingdom. Still, though, she isn't shy to take a tiny dip and pose a little for her fanbase. She gained quite a bit of it when she became human. So that was something. One of the Perks of Humanity, seemingly.

Meeeeeeggy. Again. Sorry, she's adorable, look at her. Just thought I'd give the newly-released model a look into to see how well it worked. At first, not well. For some reason, her IK bones in the arms and legs are attached to her bip bones by default. For those unaware, bip bones are often in the torso or near the middle of the model and bip.hip bones are used to encapsulate the whole model. They are used to move the whole model without having to use the Physics Gun. This means that trying to move any bone would cause connected bones to move and warp with them. Thankfully, this is an easy fix by disabling the IK bones. What is less fixable is that she has bodygroups for removing her shirt...and nothing underneath. Not even a texture. So, SAY, you want to put a new shirt on her, that will make bonemerging on new clothes...difficult. Not even sure she has the bones for adding on clothes, anyway. Oh well. Head accessories work fine and she has feet underneath her boots, at least.

I mean I still really like the model, I'm glad and grateful we even got it to begin with. That and one of Axol, and I really like Axol too, so that's neat. Not entirely sure I'll use her in a lot of things, but it's certainly going to spice up backgrounds, which I need to do. Gmod is weird, and barely works when you want it running full steam, pun intended, but when it clicks together like this? Man, it is something to savour. And now to sit back and watch this get more views and favourites then the story I spent five days on when this took less than two hours. GMOD really is grand, ain't it?
