Forbidden Palace #2 Terragen Picture #7This is a rework of another picture I did entitled Forbidden Palace. The general consensus was to lose the cracks in the ground so I did. Also I wanted to go for an extreme sun effect, but I dont know if I went a little too much with the light.
Well, again, I was experimenting here so comments and suggestions (especially from terragen gurus) are welcome.

I like the sky too but think that it should be lighter IMHO
My only other suggestions would be to drop the bumpiness of the textures down a few notches, and to add more textures in general. The sand needs more detail and also you could use a little more greens. One technique is to stack many child surfaces to the textures and make them thick.. adds lots of detail that way (that is a Stotty tip BTW).

i love how the sky looks over the whole place. it looks like it could use a little more contrast? i dont know, but very nice over all. and by the way....what ever happened to you fixing up my dragon?! oh well, if you ever get around to it let me know!

Should I in front of the temple?
Very nice lighting in this one .. I really like how you can see most of the "Forbidden Place" then it just fades out. Awesome sky in the background .. I love the dark red colour in them .. Very good job here ... the "Forbidden Place" seems a bit too smooth .. but still very cool

This looks very foreboding, and the darkness adds to the theme of the forbidden palace. I like the textures and sky, and think you did a great job!
