Description
ZBrush #5 - Sunset StallionHorse was made from scratch using a "How to draw horses" book as a visual reference for the bone structure. The background was an original Bryce 5.0. Smudge brush, soften to clear up a few jaggies, and then some color saturation here and there.

Stunning piece of work, I have acquired Zbrush but cant get a handle on its complex and highly undstandard intereface. I've back burnered it for when I start on 3d work as that seems to be what it excells at. If I could understand correctly Zbrush can only output a 2000 pixel image which is fine for web graphics, but not enough for a production Illustrator.
Still this takes nothing away from this fine piece of work.

Very cool
Looks like it is pushing through the painting.
The only thing I noticed was that it is kinda too fuzzy or blurred.
And I'd have to agree with the comment about the ears.
You are getting better and better with that program dude
It's kinda neat to see you progress.
Keep em' coming

That looks great but it looks kinda scary to me. If you look at it from a certian angle it kinda looks like a deformed rabbit . All in good humour though, good job.
Oh yea Da Vinchi got his big break drawing horses too..*hint**hint*

From a "How to Draw Horses" book, to a fantastic finished piece of art, one would never know you needed a reference point. The colors and and flow to this are terrific, nice lines and expressive eyes on the horse, great work!!

Yes, this zbrush thing is cool - is it a program or a method? Well anyways I love the colors and the idea. The horse's eyes seem a little too big and the ears a little misplace (too close together) but I'm not horse expert so don't listen to me Well at least he isn't a walrus
I like the idea... how the horse fades in the sky like clouds do at sunset.
