"I can't believe this is happening... It's as if everything has stopped. It's like everything has frozen in time..." ~ mei was devestated upon learning of my mom's diagnosis of cancer. my last remaining blood-related family member. more than just my mom, but my best friend, too. i felt that every moment soon after was unreal, it couldn't be happening. but the sad thing is... it was.
this drawing was first just lines... done when my mom was diagnosed with lung&bone cancer in january 2013. my mom passed on april 29th, 2013. after... i finally finished it with color, to finish what i started... for my mom.
