Inspired by this old array of themrparticleman's themrparticleman.deviantart.co… We took pretty different approaches to it.

A small array, but one I like quite a bit. Starting at the bottom or top, this takes water and splits it into hydrogen(H2) and oxygen(2 O2). Those two elements combine on their own so there's no need for a square or anything. From there they're burned and the end result is... water! Its self sufficient! Perfect for a dependable light source.

Using this to burn other things may take some hydrogen or oxygen which would gradually weaken it. This can't take in any hydrogen or oxygen from the air, just its original water source.

EDIT: this requires an external source to begin the fire, but once its going it is continuous.
