Description
I was looking at themrparticleman's Tree of Life adaptation and realized that the bottom part of it was perfectly suited for a golem array. The text is covered up so starting from the top clockwise it goes Terra(earth), Sulphurium(sulfur/soul), Animalia(old taxonomic classification for living non-plants), Vita(life), Mineralia(old taxonomic classification for non-life), and Sal(salt/body).Because golem arrays deal with creation and life energies I fit my octagram glyph onto the tree's six pointed geometry. Following the octaglyph from the top it is ordered Terra, Mineralia, Sulphurium, Sal, Vita, Sulphurium, Mineralia, Animalia. Earth is gathered and classified 'mineralia', putting it in terms of life. The mound of earth is affixed with a 'soul'(a piece of your own life energy unless otherwise stated) and will shape itself into the body representing its soul(again likely the users own form unless otherwise stated). With this we have created a basic form of life and must recontextualize our golem as animalia. Here animalia shown as an imperfect representation of a human because it needs to be broad enough to cover many beings, but also because what we have created is essentially a 'false life' with no mind of its own.
The golem created with this would essentially be an extension of yourself. With a secondary array linking yourself and the golem you could issue it commands in place of having a mind of its own. Making a golem with independent thought is not possible with this internal geometry because Hydrargyrum representing the mind has been bypassed. It could be done with a hexagram but the lack of connectivity could lead to lowered quality in the product.
