Quinn screamed as the spikes came up through the box. Not necessarily out of pain, or even out of surprise, but it was a scream of... the intensity of what was happening to her. For a moment, it was unlike anything she had ever experienced, and in an unexpected way, it felt fantastic!

Then, Quinn passed out.

"Looks like she got the point of my act!" said the magician to very few laughs. Most of the audience was looking with concern at the poor, beautiful, young woman that had been plucked from the crowd. Even Trixie looked shocked at what the magician had just done.

Catching on to the anxiety of the audience, "Relax folks!" He reversed the spikes and opened the box to show Quinn was fully restored, through still unconscious.
