Have you ever seen a semi hit by a train? The one I saw was almost completely demolished - looked like a baby Godzilla had ripped it's way out of it.

Actually, there could probably be a few uses for a train alt mode. On the "Comics In Disguise" page, Megatron sends Astrotrain to block a train crossing and keep the Autobots from reaching the battle in a timely fashion. And having sat at more than one train crossing myself while the train either creeps along or GOES FRIGGIN' BACKWARDS, I can tell you it MUST be a D-con plot...

Yeah and outdated and obsolete by the late 60's even(with Transformers being made in the late 80's thats a 30 year or so gap for steam power). They could have at least used a diesel engine for that alt mode. Seems they were scanning an antique train yard next to a NASA Launch site.

Anyway. Yes. Poor Astrotrain XD He's got the worst possible combination of alt modes EVER (freight train engine and space shuttle? WTH were HIS creators smoking? o_O) and probably never does hear the end of it.
