That movie was freaking awesome. You all are out of your mind. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was how predictable the story line was. Besides that the rest movie was fantastic. Action, bad ass characters, and awesome creatures all in one movie. It was definitely worth seeing for any type of artist.

Yes when I was a kid, I went to elementary school mostly in French. We had lots of Franco-Belgian comic albums at the school library including Les Schtroumpfs(Smurfs)

The movie is definitely something that would be enjoyed much more on a bigger screen - I don't recommend you wait for DVD unless you have a really, really good TV. It's a great movie, it really is. It wasn't actually first on my "want to see" list but I was BLOWN AWAY by it.

Dude, you NEED to see it in theaters. You're not going to get the full scale of how awesome it is unless you see it in 3D. Unless you want to wait 3+ years for home systems to be 3D compatible that is....

Yeah, so many people telling me you need to see it in 3d just makes me want to see it less. If it has to rely on a gimmick like that there's probably not much substance there. A good movie should be just as god in any format.

Yeah. Like this movie would be impressive in regular format but the 3D....like it sounds REALLY cheezy. But you feel like you're there watching everything happen. Like I refused to go to a 3D movie for some time cuz I thought it would be REALLY gimmicky. But with Avatar, it's unbelievable. It mad a believer in me w/ 3D. I max is even better. I've seen it 3 times so far and I'm probably going to see it again cuz I have a friend who has yet to see it.

That's funny when I have to mention to people that it's not "smurfs in space" because Na'vi don't wear white pants/leggings, are 10 feet tall, and aren't vegetarians. But nice comic anyways.
You have to see it in 3D or Imax 3D, it's a theater film, so don't wait until it comes out in DVD to see it.

I saw Avatar the other day- you can def. wait to see it on DVD if you want. I found the 3D to be superfluous, and the visuals are just too busy, so if you're not the person that "must" see stuff in 3-D (I'll admit, I am not) than I wouldn't pay the extra money. It gave my friend and I a headache in the middle. I think I would have enjoyed it better in 2D, and it's not like it's this super deep and complicated, hard-to-follow story, tho it *is* a good movie, IMO...
