**Fullview, please!** You can see the faces better (namely the tear on Axel's face...it took a while.)Ok this is a KH pairing that I'm a fan of...Even though it seems fairly obvious from KH: COM that Axel and Larxene didn't necessarily get along...but I think perhaps they had feelings for each other before Axel betrayed Larxene and Marluxia and Larxene was killed...at least...whatever "feelings" a nobody is capable of having...The lighting is not quite what I want, but I had fun with this piece...I also still have the original lineart without any color to it...I did this picture in color but I think that it's more powerful in black and white. Hope you all like it.
I don't own any KH characters...property of Squaresoft and Disney and KH: COM was made for Nintendo Gameboy Advance.

Finally, someone who agress with me that Axel is not, and will never be, in a couple with Roxas. I haven't gotten very far in CoM (Hades=killer), but from what I've seen in the game so far, this would work--it would explain why he's looking for Roxas; he's the only friend Axel would have left.
The shading on their faces is lovely, and the softness of the entire piece is nice as well. Were the spotlights making a heart-like shape intentional?

Actually no...but it's cool that it came out that way! I hadn't noticed. LoL.
I'm definitely not a Yaoi fan...and somehow every character I like is in a Yaoi couple in some fanfiction or fanart...it's just not my taste.
I'm so glad you like this picture...I love Kingdom Hearts...this was so much fun to draw...I'm planning to start another of these two in a more action-filled pic...it will be a real challenge.

Neither am I...I have several of the Square Enix figurines, including Axel and Roxas, and I made an anti-yaoi banner for them to hold.

Have you played KH II yet? I highly recommend it...I tried playing KH: COM...too hard...but I watched the video on Google Video...so you know what it's about...very sad game!

Yep, I got it the day it came out, actually. ^^ But my copy had some kind of error (glitch? virus?) and would lock up whenever I got to the worlds map screen. It took me awhile to get another copy and finish the game.

My friend got as far as Hades I think...then she gave up...don't think she got further than that...I didn't make it past Axel the first time you fight him...*blush* pathetic, I know.

I had a lot of difficulty with each of them...it took me literal months to beat Hades...the dodge roll and jumping around, as well as running like my tail was on fire, helped when I fought Hades.

The PS2 version of Chain of Memories is part of KHII: Final Mix...but from what I hear, it's only being released in Japan. There is an online petition for it to be released in other countries, though.

Did I mistype it? They're making a final mix of Kingdom Hearts II, and including COM...the fighting style involves cards as well as reaction commands, from what I've seen in screen shots.

At least you should be able to find a lot of info...on some video game forums, the mods say it's likely it'll be released here--since the original Final mix was because the original Japanese game didn't have the battle with Sephiroth in it...so releasing it in the US and other countries would be equivalent to that (I hope I'm making sense.)

You know, it's the same way with the Wii. I can't tell you how many times I've had to call Nintendo and figure out what's wrong...I even had to have a replacement Wii sent out a week or so after I got it. Very frustrating. (Corrupt memory...go figure....)

I suppose all new gaming systems, and some games, have issues. I think I already mentioned that my copy of KHII had a bug with the world map...I got it after school the day it was released, and didn't finish the game until late July. I wish the developers would take the time to make sure everything is working before they release a new game and/or system...I'd prefer a later release date and a perfectly working product to an early release date and a bug-ridden one. It's part of the reason my boyfriend is going into video game programming...he's sick of bugs in games, too.
