Chainsaw Man vs Generator Rex
Both come from settings overrun with powerful, dangerous creatures that can appear anywhere at any time (Devils/EVOs)
Both of their bodies have some part of these creatures integrated into them (Pochita’s Heart/Nanites). While this isn’t uncommon in their settings, Denji and Rex are both considered unique due to how they retain complete control over their bodies and their inhuman parts
This control over the non-human parts gives them a variety of superhuman abilities, most notably their iconic power to generate machine weaponry out from their bodies
Due to his control, both have been taken in by a government organization that specializes in combating the aforementioned creatures to be used as living weapons against them (The Public Safety Devil Hunters/Providence)

Admittedly, I don’t know too much about Generator Rex. I haven’t watched the show since I was a kid, but I thought the basic connections were neat, and I thought my idea for the composition was neat. I feel like their might be more connections, but I wouldn’t know for sure. I do plan on actually watching it eventually though.
