Description
Buddhist statues at the base of Mount Zwegabin, outside the city of Hpa-An, Myanmar. I spent a day climbing up to a monastary near the top of the mountain and spent the night up there enjoying the peace and quiet. Don't recommend doing the hike mid day in March with only a small water bottle though, that was a poor choice.
It breaks my heart that there is so much turmoil in Myanmar now due to the military there, it was one of the most friendly and welcoming countries I have ever visited.
