Funny story: I ask a friend of mine if he saw my latest post on DA, and he talks about a "Ben 10" "clock alien" with "circuits on its chest," and I eventually realize -- to my embarrassment -- that he's referring to the (entirely biological) Green Lantern I redrew a second time recently, now with updated shading. So I drew it AGAIN, practically in a fever, to try getting the design right so people can know what they're looking at.

Turns out he hadn't even seen the full image, just a smaller version that he'd interpreted with his mind into something that fit both what he saw and what kind of stuff he knew I was into -- and so, once again, my ego is saved, thanks to... THE POWERPUFF GIRLS!

And I got some new drawings out of it! Inspiration really can come from anything, huh?
