I actually make AU's of Ness's story. (Kinda like how I make AU stories for ES) There is one AU where Paula was able to go with Ness to the Pokemon world. They both were separated, as Paula's egg was far, far away from Ness's. It was also found by a scientist who thought the egg was a meteor. (It did fall out of the sky and crash into a field like how normal meteors do) When he found out it was a egg and Paula hatched into a alolan vulpix, he ended up raising Paula as his own. Ness was still alone though and still found Goldie. They would meet when Ness was on his journey to stop Giygas. Of course, they both get a Crush on each other, but have a weird sense of deja vu when the met. They later do find out about how they were together, and were happy about it. But know, just because Paula is here, that doesn't mean that I will use her in the future and Ness now has a girlfriend. He is still single. This is just what it would have been if she was able to come with Ness.
