Today I finished Avatar-The last airbender. And I am soo sad! Do you know that feeling when you love a show and get attached to the characters and when it's finished you know you will never "see" your "friends" again?
So I decided to listen to some fitting music (it took me this song completely and this one partially to finish the drawing) and draw the characters in my style. The first one is Katara.
I decided for an outfit and hair like she has worn it in the fire nation but in her people's colors and with her mother's collar.
So much went wrong during the process but I still ike the result. I think I might write a "Lessons learned" journal or something.
I think I can identify the most with Katara when it comes to personal traits. But I liked Toph and Uncle Iroh the most, I guess it's because they have some attributes I admire in people and sometimes wish I was more like "them".

I like how the skin color turned out. It is a mix of "Burnt ochre",Pompeian red" and "Beige red" I think.
