Hasbro kinda did it to themselves... Transformers has mostly male characters and very little female ones.

Well said! I've just gotten into the Transformers, although I do recall seeing the original cartoon. Anyways, I have always been into the slash in other fandoms from rock bands to the Law & Order's, but it amazes me how there's slash for everything, including Transformers! And here I am looking for it!

However, (because I just have to point this out) there was an episode where Optimus points out, that they have no concept of gender (it was either G1 or G2), but it never states that they have no concept of "pleasure" or companionship.

I like this piece so much even though I'm no fan of TF slash (can't even see how the normal ones would work like! XD). It has that..irony surrounding it. Especially Megatron being at the bottom.

OH yes, this made me joker laugh, which is highly satisfying unless you are in the vicinity of someone with rigid moral horizons surrounding the issue of grinning mass murder and quite possibly has a penchant for flying rodents.
Now I'm not sure about the costume fetish, but everyone in my lecture hall was giving me the 'YOUWILLNEVERGETAWAYWITHTHIS' glare before I was booted.

ProwlXJazz I've never rly understood since one of them is a total prick and the other would probably have sick bling and smoke up with me (which would be awesome!). And I've never seen either of their characters even echange more than a few words in any continuity. But it such an old and popular pairing that you just end up accepting it.

I haft to agree with that statement. I'm just glad all my friends approve of slash and aren't constantly harassing me obout it. I just gets annoying, y'know? Especially when someone you don't know has the gall to insult your work JUST cuz it's slash.

I have to give you so much respect for the Prowl and Jazz one. I was literally saying these exact same words to a friend last night-- I said the pairing made little sense, and she noted that Prowl's and Jazz's canon personalities were so far apart there was no way to make it work.
