Dabi was scuttling off from her handler, searching the beach for shiny things, and she came across the poor little Laila all huddled up in a hole. She was undernourished and quite small for her age, fearful at Dabi's approach and very hissy. Dabi was persistent, however, returning to the hole every day with food, and so Laila warmed up to her.
Celia soon found out where her little screeching pup had been running off to every day, so Laila was taken home, given a name, and grew stronger from there. She and Dabi are inseparable. This image marks the moment that the two's close friendship began.
