Description
The priests of Sei Naru Jigoku are pacted for a long time with a special kind of Element spirits: the Archangels.
Almost everey member of the priest can use the powers of one of them, but the Archangels choose for themselfes, who they sign up a pact with in a special ritual. When Kame becomes choosen by metatron it was quite a sensation, since he is the leader of the Archangels. Kame felt pretty insecure about this and hesitated to use Metatrons power a long time, but the Archangel just waited til his time came. When Jeannes Archangel Uriel ran berserk because of Tryzias curse, Kame decided to unleash Metaron to save her. With this incident he looses all fear about Metatrons power and continues to use it in the coming battles. Also Metatron aids the party with his knowledge but always seems to know more as he tells.
The entire transformation process is triggered by a special amulet which is the link between the medium and the Archangel. The Medium charges the Amulet with his magic energy and the Archangel uses that energy to manifestate. He becomes an armor for the medium and moves by following the mediums thoughts. Metatron hold immense firepower and a wide variety of support magics. He normally moves trough the air and only descends to the ground to have a stable stance during range attacks with great recoil.
The transformation only keeps until the energy charge runs out and it fails if the medium is mentally too exhausted.

I drawed this long ago, and to be honest, i find it´s a bit too digimon like. I already have a new design in mind, it will strongly resemble Jehuty from the Zone of the Enders games.
