I was having a bad day when this drawing was done and I was too tight with my work. My professor had me pulverize my charcoal into powder and draw with the powder directly with my fingertips. It was a dirty process and I was sure the charcoal would never clean off my fingers. It turned out to be quite fun and I like the ethereal look of the piece.
