Etymology: Its name is based on Philippine Language. gahi means "hard or tough", ahit means "sharp", and teryente came from the word kuryente it means "electricity or shock".

Description: A very powerful creature with scales that is strong enough to endure fire and a fur warm enough to endure the cold, it has a very short tempered which makes it very easy to get angry and brings it to rage mode in minutes. Due to its lone wolf nature, chances of encountering the Gahiteryente is 1 out of 1000 and its natural habitat is hard to determined because of it. However, few survivors who unfortunately encounter this monster, said to have sighted it in Volcanic and Snowy areas making having a high chance of encountering the beast. If one manages to encounter this beast they must be well prepared as most encounters with it are fatal. It is said that this monster is omnivorous, thus allowed it to survive in any environment, some witnesses say that they saw the Gahiteryente feeds on stones, specifically Thunderstones thus explains how it produces electricity.

In battle, fighting the Gahiteryente is not to be taken lightly, his scales are strong enough to bounce of steel weapons. Since no one has defeated this monster his weakness is undetermined, and thus giving another reason for a hunter to flee from it. His speed and strength alone is strong enough to bring down 3 Golems with its bare claws, its electricity is also use in various normal attacks and can be very dangerous. The real danger lies within his Rage Mode making its Spikes and Claws elongated to reach its victim in a certain range, but his most effective defense in Rage Mode is his own electricity. Its fur and scales will be covered in electricity making it an effective barrier against its foe. Its attack also involving its wingarms, when executed it will use it to strike its prey, and strong enough to cut through stone and steel especially when its covered in electricity. Its deadliest attack is its Tail Slam Spark which cause a massive earthquake and sends an electrical current in a wide and long range area.
