Description
Another religiously inspired piece. This is meant to portray how changing times are breaking down what is seen on the surface, whether it be by those who are against the concept completely or more mildly, by those like me who question some of our current practices. But at the heart, a spiritual foundation is still alive and well in this world.Model: Sara Duncan ...and a little reference help from the Angels on Ponte Sant'Angelo in Rome

Not only in this a truly stunning piece of art, but the message it sends out is also very poignant. Only a true artist can pull something like this off.

The way you rendered the cloth folds really makes it look like one of Bernini's Baroque sculptures, at first I thought you directly referenced the angel with the cross but I can see the pose is a bit different. I love angels, love Bernini's statues, and I love this piece. I like how you added the touch of dust there, that's always been hard for me to do lol.

that is jaw-droppingly good. i love the large amount of detail in the piece. and the dust as well from the breaking stone. i think the clouds also adds to it well.
