WIP for my gerarddd drawing
It one of my many half-completed drawings atm. and I don't think i'll finish this one today, but i wanted to upload something at least for IMCRD
plus, the eyes are my favourite part to draw :3

well i always draw a light and rough outline in the beginning to get the proportions right. that's the most important thing cause if the proportions are off, it'll turn out horrible despite good shading

I like it just he way it is. Sometimes I just love artwork that is not totally complete with details. Parts that are detailed and parts that just hint at what should be there.

That's really good - almost photographic. Loving the red shading on the eyes!

that is *insanely* good, especially the detail on the eyebrows. i really like the eyebrows...
and the nose, with the shading and how rounded it is.
and the eyelashes! i find it always hard to find a balance in the eyelashes. i always end up making them...too girly? cartoon-y? i'm not sure what the proper term is, but incorrect, is what it is!
this almost looks like it's done in pastel. but i see the pencils. what kind of pencils are they? i think i can make out an ebony one.
but yes. this makes me smile. a lot.
