Description
The Asylum will never let you go.This was inspired by the movie Haunted Hill.
I think if you know that movie, you know how to connect the title to the image.
I purposely didn't mess it up too much; not to distract from the center of the image.

This piece although horrifying, is truly a work of art. The persepctive is perfect leading one down a hallyway to their fate. The texture lets ones eye filter the image using the imagination to fill in the blanks. The white on the walls tends to add to this effect. This piece is a great composition consumed with interest to the viewer.

It's a bit freaky- I like it.
It reminds me of an old rundown meatworks building I once frequented.
It was crawling with bugs, bats and asbestos. All the good stuff for a good art environment. he he.

Bit late on commenting, but have only just seen this pic.
Recognized that corridor instantly (St. Georges, knackered now and due to be re-developed), I have the same shot! Nice job manipulating this, makes a refreshing change to see something that doesn't involve some wench with bloody wings, etc. This is darker and more interesting!

I've just looked at this again, and checked my gallery and its this: [link] shot! Either someone else has taken exactly the same angle/lighting, etc. Or my photo has been used as 'stock' when it wasn't offered as stock.

hahha i actually like that the distortion is less because it makes the whole piece look and feel more...empty and hollow..and draws the attention to the bleeding tortured person in the back...

Very well done photomanip. I especially like the placement of the metal cart near the mouth. From afar, it makes the mouth look like it's bleeding. Most effective!
