Description
WynterLyte is my third Kirin Sculpture.Photo of him sillohetted against the sky.
He is ment to be a Friesian stallion but im not too sure if I suceeded or not. I wanted him to represent the aurora borialis, with the strips coming off the back of his head representing the light. I didn't quite suceed but I did have a good go at it
. He is painted with metallic paints and drybrushed to appear as if he changes colour with the light (very similar to harliquin car paint). He was awesome fun to make as well as a challenge and a big headache.He took me way longer to do than all my other sculptures put together!
WynterLyte is a OOAK kirin unicorn statue, I made him from scratch with super sculpey over a wire armature and painted him with perlescent and metallic acrylic paints. His curly mane and tail are a mixture of wool and tibetian lambs wool while the "light" is fine mohair and is studded with swarovski crystal beads. He has metallic purple eyes which I got from Amanda at DreamingTreeStudios.
