Note: So I've Been Very busy this month and this is as far as I have gotten to the task, I appologise if it still looks meh, But I wanted to get this uploaded so i dont miss the Deadline and since Im still a bit busy to finish this, but once Im Free, Ill continue on this as soon as I can, For now I hope you all enjoy the story of this at least ^^

Cooking The Evening Away

As Rinoa's sleeping most of the next day away from the stress she had to endure the day before with misplacing her precious picture and meeting the typhlosion who found her picture Cyro, she hear's a commotion in the hallway

Rinoa: M-mm...whats all that racket..?

Rinoa mumbled to herself as she gets up to open her door to see a...bizzare looking combuskin standing there with his eyes red and scars all over his body asking other guild teams for help and seeing some of those teams making their way out of the cats cradle, before she could make her way to her room, the combusken spot's Rinoa and approches her.

???: K..Konbanwa

Rinoa's ear twitches as she didnt know if Konbanwa was a greeting of sorts as she just replied

Rinoa: H-Hi

???: I Need your help..

Rinoa: My Help? For what..?

She asked kind of curious since he was asking other teams for help as well

???: Help cook for guilds...

Rinoa: Cooking? for the Guilds?

The combusken nods

???: Missing things on list...cant read it...

He Pulls out a list and hands it over to Rinoa, who took a look at the list seeing that it has words like noodles, eggs, milk and such written down

???: Can make it worth your while...just dont get any icky things and meat..

Rinoa: No Meat?

the combusken nods again

???: no meat.. dont want to eat guild friends..

Rinoa: Ah ok I'll see what I can make with these ingreedients, if I may ask though, whats your name?

the combusken looked a bit confused as he thought that the Zeraora would know who he cause cause of the commotion that happened with the Aristocrats at a party they were hosting, but being respectfull he answer's her

Takahata: Takahata...

Rinoa: Well Takahata, I'll be sure to get this dish done as soon as I can

She smiles as she head's out of the cat's cradle herself and make's her way there with a basket she happed to pick up as a borrowed item from the Inn.

Time passes about a hour or so as Rinoa was looking at the stall's that had many things on each seperate booth

Rinoa: (Hmm...I got the milk, noodles, eggs and even bread just incase...but I cant think of what else to get here...I mean the berries do look ok here... but i need something a little more...fresh..)

as she thought that she heard a commotion comming from the gates of the city as she turns to it's direction and see's a female meowstic and the tail of a zorua walk past the gates

Rinoa: (Eh? where are they going..? better follow)

She then follow's the two to see where they were going, which turned out to be a grove that had lots of things growing there like berries, fruit, veggies and other things and she see's most of the member's from before gathering such things from this area

Rinoa: (Huh, no idea this was here, well since I am here by sheer luck, might as well start gathering)

She went around the grove, collecting some fresh berries, some fruit such as apples but there was a unique thing that caught her eye

Rinoa: (Hm? what's this?)

She kneel's down and pluck's a mushroom that looked like it was good to eat

Rinoa: (Is this poisonous..? might as well try it a bit..)

she carefully plucked a bit off the mushroom and took a bite, to her surprise it wasnt only not poisonous, but it tasted...like meat?

Rinoa: (A Mushroom tasting like meat? dang that's new, maybe I'll pick some of these up and make something with it later)

after a hour of collecting she heads back to the inn and started to make the food for Takahata.

Takahata was waiting outside of the Inn as he did see Rinoa walk back into it earlier, soon enough she walks out of the inn and approches him

Rinoa: Hey Takahata, hope I didnt make you wait too long

Takahata: You didnt..

Rinoa: Thats Good

she says as she holds a basket to him, and he gently takes it

Takahata: what you make..?

Rinoa: Nothing too exiting, but I recalled a good friend of mine making the food I made for you, which by the way is some berry and egg sandwhiches, with a apple pasta salad mixed some pecha berries

she then smiles at him

Rinoa: Im sure that they will love it

Takahata slightly bows in respect, and hand's Rinoa a feather like charm.

Takahata: Thank you..

then he takes his leave as Rinoa sighs a bit

Rinoa: Man, I do miss eating Keanu's food... wonder how he and Luma are doing..

Without any warning she felt a and on her shoulder that spooked her a bit to turn and see Cyro who didnt have his flame ignighted like he did earlier

Rinoa: Holy Arceus man..! Dont scare me like that

The typhlosion blinks and smiles a bit

Cyro: Sorry about that, I didnt realize you were in thought, anyway have you heard of the cook off happening?

Rinoa blink's as he said that

Rinoa: Wait Cook Off?

Cyro nods as he hold's out a flyer to her

Cyro: Apparently from how they saw that Feral combusken for cooking help, the guilds decided to have a cook off happening this evening

Rinoa takes a closer look at the flyer

Rinoa: A Cook off eh?

Cyro: Mhm, you planning on participating? Im kind of curious about how good your cooking skills are..

Rinoa: W-Well I wouldnt say Im a perfectionist, but I know my way around a kitchen at least, and you know what, I do have some extra ingredients so why not, I'll join

Cyro smiles

Cyro: Nice~ well shall we head to the kitchen then?

Rinoa nods her head as the two made there way to the kitchen and they see that some other pokemon were making food in the kitchen as well, to Rinoa's guess were other contestents to the Cook off

Rinoa: Wow, alot of mons here eh?

She head's into the kitchen with Cyro as she pulls out the extra ingredents she had in hand and begins to cook away.

Cyro: So Rinoa, what's the game plan for your dish here?

Rinoa: Well I Recall this really good pasta dish that My good friend Keanu made once and i think it might wow the judges away~

Cyro: Need any intel about the judges? since I just told you about it?

Rinoa: Seems Fair, alright lay it on my Cryo

She says as she works away with cooking her noddles and chopping the meat mushroom she harvested before

Cyro: Well, Mayor Lyric is one of the judges, which im sure that you've met him before, the second judge is Kiki who you also know since he owns this very Inn

Rinoa: Well at least two of the judges are pretty good

Cyro's facr darkens a bit

Cyro: Well the last judge is a mon you should never trust...especialy since your not in his guild..

Rinoa turns to him

Rinoa: What do you mean?

Cyro: The last judge is the leader of the outcast's guild...Arsene who's a white and purple Grimmsnarl.. he'd do anything to sabatoge the three guilds in any mean's nessesary...I'll just advise you to be careful alright..?

Rinoa looks to see how serious Cyro looks and smiles at him as she continues to cook

Rinoa: Dont worry, if he even try to intervine with the teams that were cooking in here he'd have to fight us for a cheap victory

Cyro: (I admire her determination...but she's still a fool if she think's Arsene would sabatoge this whole event by his own hands..)

from the cornor of his eyes he spot's two pokemon that had a mischevious look on their faces as they slowly enter the kitchen

Cyro: (dangit all...that pompus fool is getting in the way of me gaining her trust...might as well deal with this here..)

as the two pokemon slowly procede to where Rinoa was working they saw that Cyro's flame's are ignighted as he stared them down with a look that said "I'll kill you if you even try to do anything..!" which scared the two scoundrel's enough for them to flee the kitchen.

Rinoa: Everything ok back there Cyro?

She turned to see him just standing there with a smile on his face

Cyro: Yup Everything's good here~

Rinoa: Ok then?

after a few more minutes Rinoa's dish was finished as she had it on a plate that had a portion big enough to serve the tree judges

Rinoa: Phew finished~

Cyro takes a look at Rinoa's cooking creation and does that whistle

Cyro: Dang that does look good, that friend of yours sure does know his way around recipies eh?

Rinoa: Mhm~

Cyro looks up and down Rinoa's body realizing that she didnt have anything presentable on for the judging

Cyro: hey before you go out there, take your scarf off and put this on

He hands Rinoa a black vest with a seafoam green trim and a seafoam green tie and she looks at him

Rinoa: What do i need this for?

Cyro: Might as well look presentable with your dish for better results, and dont worry about your scarf, i'll hold onto it for you as I lend you my vest and Tie

Rinoa: O-Ok thank you then Cyro

Rinoa then begin's to change from taking her scarf off to putting on the facny looking vest and tie on as the other team's were presenting their dishes to the judges.

Rinoa: How do I look?

Cyro: You look great, now go get them kitty cat~

he teased as Rinoa pick's up the plate of food and walks into the main dining room's judging table as Cyro lean's against the wall holding onto Rinoa's Scarf

Rinoa: Good eveing gentlemen

Rinoa says as she greeted politely to the three judges of Kiki, Lyric and Arsene

Lyric: Oh, Your that Zeraora that helped with fixing the park with the other explorers

Rinoa: Thats Correct mayor, good to see you again

Arsene look at Rinoa since he hasnt heard of her before, possably cause she was mostly doing her own thing after with the park's resotration

Arsene: So your one of the new member's of the Explorer's guild, heard that your pretty strong among the ranks..

Rinoa shift's her eyes to Arsene and he's exactly as Cyro told her as he blandly complamented her, which she caught on immeditly in his voice

Rinoa: A Pleasure to meet you sir, Rinoa's my name

Arsene: Well Rinoa, I wonder if you cook as well as you fight..

Kiki: What dish do you have for us? It smell's really good~

Kiki said stoping Arsene from saying more as he get's both him and Rinoa back on track

Rinoa: Well sirs, the Dish I have made is In honor of a dear friend who I miss as I made this journey with my two friends..

She lift's the lid that was on the plate to revial noodles coated with a sause and had bits of mushroom on it along with a few spices

Rinoa: I Present to you...Volca Alfredo, this noodle based dish is made with not only noodles, but wlong with a creamy sause that cover's it as it's mixed with nutmeg and some cheese, from the name as well it has some Volca wing mushrooms cut into small chunk's and scattered among the dish and seasoned with some black pepper and orgeneno

Lyric: Ooo~ impessive dear~

Rinoa: I Hope you three enjoy the taste

Each of the three pick up their fork's and swirl up a good portion that had some of the Volca wing mushroom and take a bite, Rinoa's slightly getting anxious as this is the first time she made this exact meal she had to alter it since the Volca wing mushroom which she learned the name of the mushroom she gathered from Cyro earlier wasnt in the original recipie, Kiki then smiles

Kiki: I Must say...this tastes really superb!

Rinoa's ears twitch as she heard kiki say that

Lyric: I Have to agree~ how the sauce states with the herbs is a unique mix, and the Volca wing mushrooms as that texture that make this even more perfect~

Rinoa looks at Arsene who looks back at her

Arsene: I'm amazed...i was expecting this to be bad...but how you managed to cook the Volca wing meatshrooms were perfect, not too ripe and not too overcooked...the noodles with the sauce were a good mixture with the black pepper and orgenino..

She smiles as she got a good complament that didnt sound fake as Cyro in the back was amazed that Arsene can even give out a good complament

Kiki: to think you'd even get Arsene of all mon's to praise something as good as this, but over all amazing job

The judges then give out 5 star's to Rinoa, which landed to be a perfect score as Rinoa then hears clapping from the other patron's and contestants in the room as Cyro Approches her

Cyro: Congratulations on winning Rinoa

Rinoa: Thank you Cyro, I wouldnt of been able to get this far on my own

Cyro: I can bet, your friend must of taught you some of his skills right?

Rinoa: Mhm, I just hope he and the other's back home are doing ok

Cyro: Im sure their fine, anyway you must be hungry from working so hard this evening, let's sit down at a table and eat some of the food being served

Rinoa smiles and nods to accept his offer as the two find a table to sit at and ate some of the food thet was being served as Rinoa's rewards for the compatition was delivered to their table.
