More before & after shots of the VN I'm making using Ren'Py.(I'm working on 3 projects simultaneously and I'm having a hard time dealing with time management and mood control.)

very nice the suttle changes to the lighting and shading to the charecters is very good and balances with the new backgrounds very well your improvment is clearly stated in this pic

I like the text in the other better, doesn't...umm...naw at you, if ya know what I mean. The font in the before one has a softer feeling which makes it appporoachable I guess. I juts get scared to look at the othe rx.x

Great progress!
I really like the small changes made to the character's design, both physical and personality. c: The text looks alot more professional and 'game' like now.
And the background's look a lot more developed and thought put into the objects in the background. Before, they look far too 'blocky' and flat, whereas the added light, colours and perspective look great. c: My only 'problem', or more an obsession with things like this, is that the second 'After' background could do with a little more development. It seems a little too square and and the colours could do with some more lighting and perspective. Cx
But who am I to talk? Your art relating to this project looks amazing. Nice seeing your progress and love to see more!

These are nice, but, to make a suggestion, the way you color the characters doesn't really suit the environment they're in. I think it'd be nice to add a color filter.

Wow, at first I thought the only difference was the more colourful backgrounds and the addition of nose's for everyone, but looking closer there's actually a ton of subtle improvements.
The eyes have more shine and look more alive, the skin and hair are coloured better and have more dimension to them, they don't look flat anymore, and I don't know if you actually did something to the mouth or not, but you definitely added something to the eyelashes.
Overall, I much prefer the right side, the backgrounds are better, the text box is better, and there's a clear difference in how much depth there is, which adds a lot more life to the characters.

Well.
I'm not entirely sure which one I like better. Someone mentioned they liked the left side better and I tend to agree.
The reason for this is that the backgrounds on the right seem to... jump out too much colour-wise. They're maybe a bit too bright and colourful to realistically suit the foreground (the character). But that's just my own opinion.
Otherwise I think the artwork is great.
