Imagine a game consule that Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony could combine their efforts to make. Imagine if they could take the best things of all systems and roll them into one? The graphics would rule, games would use phaillic sticks, and they'd all have blue-ray. It would be epic right?

arguing which consoles is such a wast of time, i agree, people just take it too far and nit pick at the smallest things and rip the shit out of someone because they prefer a different console.

Well thank you for the lack of shoving. I appreciate that. If I had the spare money and time I wouldn't mind having an 360 or something. But with my freelance job, I don't get to spend much time in one spot to play games. The last game I actually got to play was Pokemon: Heart Gold.

LOL its true in a way but there are differances although they are small until you play a whole game through on both consoles, its only THEN do you notice the differance.
both consoles have thier ups and downs, Xbox dies out alot, Playstations blue-ray burns out quickly (this leads to it not reading ps3 games but reading everything else)
xbox controlers are battery powered and are heavy, the playstation controller is light but the r2 and l2 buttons are wierd imo, i like the ps1 and ps2 versions of those buttons, also, ps3 charging life is low.
xbox is very noisy, playstation is quiet
xbox online content isnt great and they charge your for it, playstation is free
playstation can handle textures better than Xbox can.
with all this ... it would lead to that the playstation is the best choice .. but then again, only certain games come out on xbox, like DOA .. so its best to have both.
every console has ups and downs
but the wii is on its own to be honest XD, you cant really compare anything to it since its all really about the remote and involvement in gameplay rather than graphics and overall gameplay itself.
i have all 3 consoles, so i know all thier ups and downs, to be honest .. i will say this, out of all the consoles, only the wii hasnt broken down yet .. isnt that funny XD

If you like em HD and all purdy like for the graphics, go for the PS3. For the gameplay only and for fun fun fun go for the XBOX 360...or so that's what the BF tells me...>_>;

lol reminded me of how I compaired a picture of Lightning from PS3 and xbox360 ver.
The difference is more noticeable since the resolutions were almost 50% less on xbox than ps3... (and the main difference was how the entire thing was interlaced but meh)
but then, I had to see it on 100% view. the "fit" views showed only the difference of Lightning's hair being pixellated differently.

It's more like...
Some games have additional content to it on one console and not the other, there's differences in controlling, the quality of the product itself, and the technical stuff.

Well, you can certainly argue which port of some games is better. What's stupid is to do so by analising which one looks better down to that kind of detail.
For example, arcade controllers aside, the PS3 version of Street Fighter 4 is better, because its Dpad is much more suitable for fighting games than the 360's.
